SOGHA, a local NGO working in Somalia, was established in 2018. The idea of the organizational foundation was first initiated by a group of Somali intellectual girls. The organization focuses on, health, education, consulting, youth &women empowerment, human rights, research, climate change, child protection, legal aid service, capacity building economic empowerment, participation in decision making.

The SOGHA also focusing on helping socio-economic poor people with water and sanitation, the distribution of clothes during Islamic holidays (EID), and Iftar during Ramadan, particularly the IDPs camps in the country. SOGHA activities are taking place in Somalia. The organization has a public mandate to coordinate all development activities and create mutual harmony with stakeholders to promote local integration and achieve the girls’ well-being.
